Reliable monitoring of patients with MASLD using imaging: a systematic literature review and meta-analysis on measurement repeatability

A systematic review and meta-analysis of 19 studies including 1040 patient data have shown that cT1 and liver fat content (LFC) are significantly more reliable in detecting change in liver health in people living with MASLD-MASH, compared to liver stiffness NITs. Liver stiffness measurements are less suited to monitoring individual patients.
